At the time of project completion, request certificate of occupancy inspections from the Department of Planning and Community Development to ensure the project has been built in accordance with the approved plans and the Community Development Code. The inspection may include but is not limited to general site planning and grading, landscaping and revegetation, outdoor lighting, parking and parking lot striping, retaining walls, building height and location, number of dwelling units, and consistency with approved building design.

Through review of the addendum submitted for MEP's, we need the Architect of Record or EOR to review penetrations shown possibly going through a Fire Wall to the adjacent parking structure on Sheet P.200 for the 2 1/2" Water Line, and the 1 1/2" CW Line from the mechanical room, then on Sheet M100 it shows 2 - 2 1/2" HWS lines going through this wall potentially as well. Please review and respond if these are truly penetrations through the wall in the basement, or under the slab, if they are wall penetration then review 2018 IBC Section 714 Penetrations, but specifically 714.4.1 Through Penetrations. Upon review provide me back a response by either stating which exception you meet under 714.4.1 or provide me back the Fire Assembly that will be installed in necessary, prior to calling for inspections.
