Junior Explorer 365 Suit B Anglers Dr Steamboat Springs, 80487 Junior Explorers is going to be a school aged center for children when school is out on occasional days, Holidays, After School program and Summer Camps. This is going to compliment our already existing Drop-in Program which is licensed for 40 children ages 12 months to 12 years. This will provide us a space for our older friends to have their own classroom and more age appropriate activities. We will be running this new facility under a separate school age license. To cater to our communities, need of more childcare for this age group. We will also be the only “Drop In” childcare facility for children this age in Steamboat. Meaning parents do not have to commit to weekly or monthly use they can use our program as their family needs. Making this an affordable childcare option to cater to families ever changing needs. The new space shares a wall with our already existing location “Steamboat Kids Play Garden” and will give parents the flexibility that their younger children can attend Kids Play Garden and then their older children can be dropped at Junior Explorers. We also plan to offer occasional weekend and night care as we currently offer at our current location and expand our summer camp offerings for this age. Junior Explorers will be licensed for 30 school age children. It will be a building base camp program that will offer indoor and outdoor activities to keep our community’s children thriving and growing. We will also cater to people visiting our town and 2nd homeowners. Providing more flexibility for our community needs. Junior Explores will offer Spanish Classes, Math Magicians, STEM programs, Mad Scientist classes, finger knitting, yoga, Eco Art, Paint and Create classes and more. Our outdoor camp schedule will move around town, hiking, exploring, learning about wildlife, plants, bugs, paddle boarding and running our signature camp programs Paleontologist dig, Myth Busters, Ninja camp and more. We have a qualified team of teachers in place to service the needs of the new facility to make it a success.
