This is the City's portion, payable to the City of Steamboat Springs and submitted via the Routt County Regional Building Department or City View online portal. At the end of the project, the City of Steamboat Springs Finance requires a construction use tax reconciliation to be completed to be compliant with the City of Steamboat Springs Municipal Code AND before signoff for the FINAL certificate of occupancy/completion with the Routt County Building Department. This information is sent to the email listed in City View. If you are not the person responsible for completing the use tax reconciliation for this project, please forward this information to the appropriate person so they are aware of the process before the project begins to ensure accurate records are kept for the reconciliation required within 90 days of the project being completed.
