1. Dryer Exhaust Lines: Must install corrosion proof screening over the dryer exhaust vents on the exterior side of the building for protection against critters or birds entering. Also we still need an RFI Stamped addendum on the dryer exhaust configuration being different than originally planned.

1. Smoke test conducted on 12/01/21 and leaks existed on the top of the hood where duct connections are on both sides of the hood, other areas may have leaks but it was impossible to see due to the leaking at the top of the hood, also there was not sufficient amount of smoke in the duct on the roof to conduct this inspection, contractor to re-schedule another smoke test.
2.Need a new As-Built Design of the Type 1 Hood, which shall include any changes made since the permit was originally approved approved by Routt County Building Department, for Type 1 Hood Ducting, Hood, and Fan. Provide New Stamped Mechanical Plans per item 1 above, also the Mechanical Engineer must review the captive air plans and specifications and update the mechanical plans to reference the equipment, hood, and duct work that was installed.
3. Does the Captive Air hood have a grease trench filter installed in the hood to capture grease that will run back down to the hood?
4. Sealed connections on joints should be reviewed per captive air, currently we have openings in connections above the hood before it goes vertical up through the roof, these are fittings on the outer duct, not the inner duct.
5. Draft stopping as the duct enters roof framing above hard ceiling could be mineral wool.

*Smoke Test failed on 12/08/2021, we had leaks on roof in two locations, and leaks above hood inside, contractor must remove all outer pipe to fully expose inner duct for a full inspection so we can identify where the leaks are. We also have FRP installed behind the stainless steel, Saunders to research with AOR to find out if FRP needs to be removed as it's a combustible material, research max temperture of each cooking appliance and take the most stringent to see if the FRP meets any class of materials that may be allowed, submit documentation for review.
