Description of Work:

This is a brief narrative requesting a building permit, for construction work to occur at the mentioned building during the month of April 2022. The projected work will occur from 4/13/2022 thru 4/29/2022. The work to be performed is preliminary to the extensive piping replacement project to occur in the near future, under a separate permit. This scope of work is limited to repairing existing piping and piping investigative efforts only. The following contractors will be working on the project: Haselden Construction, Steamboat Springs CO. Falcon Plumbing and Heating, Grand Junction CO. The following work will be performed during this period. 1. Repair pipe leak in boiler room. a. Copper piping b. Ball valve. c. Pressure reducing valve. d. Pipe supports @ 10’-0” o/c. e. 1-1/2” pipe insulation. 2. Limited pipe insulation removal in the mechanical/boiler room. 3. Existing piping investigation to determine pipe conditions both internally and externally on Levels 2 and 5. This will consist of removing one pipe elbow on each level to get a visual on internal pipe condition. 4. Repair leaking pipe on level 5. a. Copper piping b. Couplings c. Pipe supports @ 10’-0” o/c. d. 1-1/2” pipe insulation 5. There will be no drywall removal, repair work during the work at this time.
