Alteration
Remove existing TPO, 1/2" DensDeck and modified membrane to wood decking. Detach existing parapet coping metal. Remove existing TPO membrane from curbs and parapet walls. Mechanically attach tapered EPS at vertical junctions to redirect water. Install 2"x4" wood studs at eaves to provide flashing securement for drip edge metal. Mechanically attach 1/4" DensDeck over 2" polyiso using Invisiweld plates. Mechanically attach GenFlex, 60-mil TPO membrane using induction heat at the plates. Fully adhere GenFlex, 60-mil TPO membrane at curbs and parapet walls. Terminate junctions with all-purpose bar and pre-fabricated counter flashing. Reset, seal and secure existing parapet coping metal. Fabricate and install 24 gauge drip edge at eaves. Prime, install and seal drip edge with 6" TPO cover tape. Install pre-molded TPO pipe boots and terminate with urethane and clamping ring. Install, prime and seal line sets with TPO pitch pockets and 1-part pourable sealer. Adhere unsupported TPO membrane to galvanized roof jacks. Install TPO walkway pads at service doors of mechanical units. Apply cut edge sealant to non-factory edges of TPO membrane. Fabricate and install new 24 gauge cap metal over parapet wall divider. Remove and dispose of job site debris.
