Description of Work:

We are creating a Fire Separation between a lower level SDU and Upper level main dwelling unit. This consists of inline mechanical fire dampers placed at all ducts in the lower level. There will be (5) 6" and (1) 8" fire dampers in the basement. The (5) 6" dampers will installed at each air supply register in the basement. The one 8" damper will be installed at the air intake for the furnace. These will keep any fire from using the ducks as a path way to upstairs.
